Hi everybody. This is my first time starting a thread in the Reader Recaps forum area, obviously, and I apologize for throwing things slightly off-topic for a moment.
As you may have seen in the announcement thread, the Agony Booth is now open to accepting recaps from readers. So my question to the people who spend time in the Reader Recaps section is this: Which "reader recap" do you think is good enough to become an "official recap" on the Agony Booth?
In the past, I wanted to scour through these reader recaps to find good candidates to become "official" recaps. But there's just so much material here, and honestly I don't even know where to start. So if there's a recap that you really enjoyed, and found really funny, please let me know. If it's good enough, hopefully I can get in touch with the author and turn it into a full-fledged recap.
Also, if you posted a recap here in Reader Recaps, and you're interested in having it become an "official" recap, let me know about that, too. I'll take a look at it and let you know if it has potential to become an official Agony Booth recap.

The Agony Booth Forums will be upgraded on Friday, May 16. |

The Reader Recaps, generally speaking, are actually a little too short - they would need some lengthening.
The new Alone in the Dark one is a little short, but it's quite amusing.
The one for Quest for Camelot is quite excellent, too. |
Sucks to your numerology! |

I second the Quest for Camelot recap by Sapphire, as well as the Alone in the Dark one by The Fili.

My LiveJournal page! Narrator: Back in his secret HQ, our hero has one final, desperate idea. Earthworm Jim: I know, we'll get help from... the audience! I'll get super powers if you all just believe! (to audience) Believe and clap really hard! (waits silently for a moment, then turns to Peter) Well, are they clapping? Peter Puppy: Uh, a few of them. Most of them are just changing the channel. |

| I've got a few multi-film pieces in the archives that I'm already planning to extend into Agonizer pieces. |

| I'm planning to write some Reader Recaps myself someday, on the grounds that I have some movies (ie Daredevil, Electra and Catwoman) that are pretty painful but not really worthy of full-length recaps. Plus I don't really have the time or energy to do that many "full" recaps. |

I'd love to see that Troll 2 piece from a few years ago go up on the main site. Same goes for Hook (It would save me the anguish of making Spielberg a Repeat Offender with a 1941 recap). |

| It's been said a couple of times already, but Sapphire's The Quest for Camelot was excellent. It felt like a regular review with just the screencaps missing. |

I second (third? fourth?) Quest For Camelot by Sapphire.
I usually post my recaps on other boards as well as the Booth, but I'm deliberately holding back doing so with If Looks Could Kill because I'm thinking of making it my own first submission as an official recap after I'm done with it, once it's been cleaned up and streamlined of course. |
Mike Nelson: You people bring matches for Mikey? Tom Servo: You shut up, Mikey! You shut up!
Admiral Ozzel: Duh, oh-- Hey! We're almost done with your pancakes! Sorry about the wait! Darth Vader: I wanted waffles, not pancakes. You may die. |

| Northlander's recaps of Pompel & Pilt, or at least the first one - to post all five in the Agoniser might dominate it too much. It's hilarious, and already well equipped with video captures, some of them animated. |

Awww, thanks for all the compliments! I leave any decision on this matter up to Albert of course, but no matter what happens, I'm touched by how much you all enjoyed the Quest for Camelot recap. |

again, I loved the Quest For Camelot review.
And after skimming through the old recaps here's a small list of the ones I enjoyed the most: Dungeons and Dragons Life and Death of Peter Sellers Lawnmower Man Hook and also all those "Fun with Jacko Vidoes.'
Hey Sapphire, keep up the good work, you're most of my pics.

| Pompel and Pilt! Pompel and Pilt!! Northy's got a great style, great pics and would make a great Agonizer article or a short official recap if you take them altogether. Read them! |

Haha, thanks, Olav and Amanda. This sort of thing encourages me to consider doing more recaps in the future. Sadly, I don't think I can find more crazy Norwegian stuff -- Pompel and Pilt were truly one of a kind.
And if you people are seriously considering using this, it needs some serious cleanup work. And I guess I can put them all together into one continuous recap; sorta like a progress diary with set dates for each episode. |

| Another vote for Quest for Camelot and her takedown of Hook. I could see a Fun with Jacko videos roundup into a nice agonizer piece. |
