I saw it yesterday. Very good movie, surprised by the amount of humour but fortunately it all worked (Downey's comic timing is terrific) and I had a total blast. Wasn't disappointed by the climax at all - in fact, I have no idea how anyone could be.
One thing's for certain, I'm really looking forwards to the sequel.

I think the humor was good because they were all having fun with the movie. The crew and actors respected the material, but knew they knew not to take themselves seriously.

It's like a not-quite self-aware movie. It's pretty slick.
